The DEEP Seed Fund uses a points-based contribution model.
Every verified contribution to the DEEP ecosystem earns points based on the level of value created. These points are collected over the earning period and later converted into a payout pool.

How payouts are calculated
Points earned during the contribution period are converted into value in February of the following cycle, covering points earned from April of the previous year onward.
The value of one point depends on two things: the total Seed Fund available for distribution, and the total number of points earned by all contributors.
This means every point represents your proportional share of the available fund.
A point is worth at least 1 EUR and at most 100 EUR. The exact value depends on the size of the Seed Fund and the total number of approved points across the network.
Example payout logic
If the Seed Fund available for distribution is 22,421.60 EUR and all contributors together have earned 500 points, then:
1 point = 44.84 EUR 20 points = 896.80 EUR 30 points = 1,345.20 EUR 50 points = 2,242.00 EUR
This means even a single strong contribution can turn into a meaningful reward.
Another example: If only 20 points were earned in total, the payout for those points could reach the capped maximum logic, meaning 20 points could result in 2,000 EUR.
So the better the fund performs and the stronger your relative contribution, the more valuable your points can become.
And if your organization model does not allow you to receive a direct cash payout, your points can still be converted into services by DEEP. That means your contribution still comes back to you in a practical and valuable way.

To make that possible, we need to democratize access to opportunity and strengthen the emerging ecosystem leaders who are building the right conditions for founders all around the world. When local ecosystem builders are supported, entire startup communities become stronger. More founders can access capital, markets, mentors, partnerships, and growth pathways where they are. That means more innovation stays local, more value is created regionally, and more communities benefit from entrepreneurship.
The DEEP Seed Fund is designed to reward the people who actively contribute to this mission.
When you do something valuable for the DEEP community of ecosystem builders, and therefore for the startups they support, you do not just increase your karma. You can also earn money.
The fund works because DEEP’s portfolio ecosystem builders are committed to sharing back once they become successful. Up to 80% of success fee earnings are redirected into the DEEP Seed Fund. This means that as more members of the DEEP network succeed, the fund grows, and the value of meaningful community contribution grows with it.
This creates a powerful cycle.
You help create opportunities, strengthen ecosystems, open doors, support fundraising, mentor projects, and connect members to meaningful outcomes. Those actions generate points. Those points later convert into financial rewards or services. In other words, your contribution to the community becomes a real investment in both impact and upside.
